The Kromhout archive
The museum has a very extensive archive, consisting of various collections, all of which have great historical value. At the moment, our volunteers are working on digitizing and further archiving. We get help from the National Maritime Museum, among others. The collections provide a picture of the history and heritage of shipbuilding at the time of industrialisation in Amsterdam. Eventually, this information will be made available. If you have any questions about the archive or if you have material that could be interesting to include in the archive, please contact ‘team archive Kromhout’ via khm.archief@gmail.com

Museum objects including miniatures, art, engine parts and tools. An extensive film, video and photo database of historical material and of the current museum.
A complete business administration: a.o. correspondence, business administration, reports and curious logs.
In addition to our extensive archive, the collection of Kromhout engines that is still in working order is of course at the venue. You can see (and hear!) these engines in operation every Tuesday and third Sunday of the month!
