On these historic premises, Vereniging Museum ’t Kromhout aims to inform people about the cultural, technical and industrial heritage of Dutch marine steam engines and combustion engines, and particularly those of the Kromhout Engine Factory, in Amsterdam.
Working engines, multimedia, an accessible archive and a collection of images give a comprehensive picture of the history of the technology, craftsmanship and working conditions in the “Industrial Age”.
